What is Social Marketing?
It’s using commercial marketing techniques to change behaviour. Our work involved providing marketing support to improve the health of infants through to adolescents in reducing obesity. This included the highly successful Be Active Eat Well Program in Colac leading to a world first lowering of girth across the child population.
Social Marketing & 13th Beach Marketing
With a background in working with young children, children’s indoor playgrounds, wellness programs and our marketing background, it made us the ideal choice to undertake the social marketing support roles for a number of projects. These included: The Be Active Eat Well Program in Colac, The Maari Ma Health Aboriginal Corporation in Broken Hill, Romp & Chomp Logo Design Geelong, It’s Your Move Adolescent Health Project Geelong.
Other Social Marketing Projects involved not-for-profit organisations such as Create Geelong working with a range of disadvantaged groups.
